Bardia is Nepal's largest Terai wilderness and the best place in the country for a real chance of seeing a wild Bengal tiger. Far quieter than Chitwan, it also shelters wild elephants and rare Gangetic river dolphins in the Karnali. Jeep and walking safaris run from lodges around the park edge.
